Regular matcha is Non organic matcha.
Even for non-organic matcha, only very small amounts of pesticides are used, as the level of pesticide residues meets EU pesticide residue regulations.
It is marked by low cost and high quality compared to organic products.

Organic Matcha - Water Colors

From left to right, the grades are in descending order.

The darker the green color, the stronger the flavor and sweetness tend to be.
Ideally, the color should be a shining emerald, and this type of matcha is suitable for ceremonial grade.
Matcha with a yellowish color tends to be more bitter and astringent. It is more suitable for the Culinary Grade.
